This is a super story here Important
Robyn Isherwood usually does events for toffs but despite never having run a festival decided to run the first socially distanced one.
A real positve, she worked with councillors and they came to it and comments were couldn't we have festivals like this rather than the chaos of a normal one.
Tickets started at £20!!
From little acorns....

There was a jolly effort on the BBC last week about Rockfield studios in Monmouth (and the adjacent Monnow Valley). Robert Plant and Liam Gallagher were clearly taken with the place, though Tim Burgess' exuberance was tempered by the sad story with Rob Collins.

A pretty good doc on the guys from The Real Thing, who knew the Beatles back in the 60s when they were the Chants and wrote stuff like this:

Then as TRT they worked on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, before getting a break as David Essex's backing band. They released a big concept album (of a sort) in 1977, then made a wonky tour of Sith Efrica, and were revived by some remixes, and now still tour. The lads from Toxteth done good.

It was Don Letts' turn in this one Wink

Enjoyed a Deep Purple gig from 1993, which I now see seems to be mostly on YT as well (though the show omits a version of Paint It Black, which is here):
