For the same reason, after a dose of CNN in the evening, I force myself to watch 15 minutes of Fox News just to get the other perspective on the same events (...admittedly, I often then do another ten minutes of CNN just to simmer down and take the edge off).

If the tone of his posts is unnecessarily 'hot' and bombastic, I guess that's just the times we live in.

My hope is that WHEN Biden is elected, Trumpism will whither and die, the far left will get back in its box, and there will be space once again for moderate politicians who can take the heat out of all the toxic rhetoric.

Remember that badge of honour of NOT being a politician!? God, I miss old fashioned politics! Back when it was all about boring old men, saying boring things about legislation that none of us really understood. The sooner we are rid of politics by 'non politicians' who are turning the whole circus into reality TV bloodsport, the better off we'll be.

There should be a f**ing pride parade down the Capitol mall, with senators and congressmen all chanting: "We're here, we're politicians, get used to it!"

History will band Trump in the George Wallace category, an embarrassment people dont want to bring to mind. Well done President Trump, leaving hospital to greet his adoring fans while Covid positive, putting his security staff at risk to inflate his enormous ego. Hardly the actions of a stable person.

And I agree that it's important to be wary of being in bubbles. But I'm glad we don't have a politics dominated by boring 'centrism' with the indistinguishable suit wearing types of Blair and Cameron arguing over nothing. I'm glad politics changed for the better since 2016 so now we can have a proper fight between freedom lovers and communists/ SJWs. And Trump is going to win
