I'm not disappointed that Darelle was 10th because I think it's great that she got this far. I see Darelle being 10th as a reason for celebration!

I also don't think there's a thing as only 4th. I think top 4 in either award is an awesome achievement for anyone.

Just to echo this point, the two factors most likely to get me to spend money -- on calls, OF subscriptions, skypes, etc. -- have become: (1) Likeability; and weirdly (2) Professionalism.

I like a great pair of boobs as much as the next guy, but -- frankly -- I can see those for free. Likewise, the faux-filthy porn star bravado does very little for me.

But a likeable girl who is willing to reveal a little of her own, genuine personality, is worth paying for. And if she knows how to keep an appointment, communicate, and treat her customers with respect, then she's worth paying for again and again.

Grace Elizabeth is a great case in point. I hadn't really noticed her, tbh, and I didn't vote for her. But having seen her recent videos and read her lovely IG post, I suddenly find her super attractive. It's like she's a real person now and not just a brilliant body.

So I'd go even further than Snookered. It's not just that looks aren't everything. When it comes to actual 'transactions', it's probably the least important factor -- to me, anyway.

From Dazzler u might not of seen my message to snookered miss perfect 2020 isn't a size 8 or a curvy bombshell she both beauty is less about what u look like but more about who u are the statement u make the stamp of Ur personality u see some girls go all out o first few shows and then they start to do less some look petrified being on screen others take it like a duck to water we all can't keep an eye on every girl on the babe channels so I don't blame u for not seeing grace most of her fans found her from end of march first lockdown and grace will welcome anyone weather they known her for years or a first timer from dazzler

How are Grace and Caty getting their awards?

As usual Snooks has his finger on the pulse. He so effortlessly represents the humanist punter when in this mood; distilling the zeitgeist of the scene we love to hate (often 'can't escape' is the most apposite descriptor) to a chunky but appropriately eloquant word count. In doing this, Snook's posts so often point the corrective path for much that is errant in the channels. (That no insider that matters appears to be listening is their loss because he speaks for a good many spenders in doing so I'd say. It is why he wins so many bloody awards himself... the bastard! )

As the man says, it's clear that the new wave of babe-ing has, at long last, come of age with these results. These babes are the latest, best and brightest hope for the channels in a long, long, time. And its so good to have that hope for better back again.

Personally, I must admit to having gotten a little jaded with competitions like this one over the last couple of years. Too many of the same old names - winning each round, each battle, each tournament, mostly because of large twitter followings cultivated in better times - had dominated for too long to my mind. In analogy, for the music fan of a certain age, this latest one feels like the earthy connective punk era clearing out the passe and overblow pedestals of glam rock!

Encouragingly then, as others have stated, the Top Tens here are different from those old efforts at every turn. A breath of fresh air. Better yet, both rundowns offer surgical precision in their discernment of specific babe attributes. They select only presenters that consistently display postive attitudes in their shows and on their social media postings. True newbies or top performers of the past that have refocused and repurposed their shows for modern times they are all of a type. Over and over again this thread's picks eskew the toxic mentalities we've had to endure from the high profile, entitled, babeshow figures of the recent past. These are the ones note that refuse to move on from the old faded money grubbing tricks too. Tbf, these old guard divas should read 'em and weep. 

This year was transistional and accleratory for what defines the babeshow. Change may have been inevitable but it was frankly overdue. Regardless, it has now arrived and with some little emphasis.

I'm actually proud of the voters who concoted this mix. I suspect there's been an influx of cam only orientated punters to fandom this year and they helped define what should be held high on the shows - what is to be praised and supported there and what shunned. This thread speaks to that. And the babes highlighted speak to them with no judgement! 

Honestly, look to each physically very different but in other ways very similar presenter named... Number one, each has an attitude a world away from those that topped lists of yore... They are universally a more grounded, familiar, appreciative, humble and empathetic bunch. In addition, they are all babes who are prepared to work for their living; who are prepared to talk to guys on chat in the right manner, prepared to engage and stoke the fire that sparks interaction, prepared to extend value to all aspects of the service not restrict everything to one or two avenues of use or cling to the restrictive ways of working of the past. Above all they don't look down with contempt.

Welcome to the new breed then. As punters, we always get what we deserve but this time we deserved more evidently. 

One final hope remains: The hope that these names are also the ones who've been making the most money for themselves and their operators in this the most weird of years. We should certainly set out as a fandom to ensure as much for them, and for those that follow their proscribed pattern of behaviours, in 2021. Every single fan of the shows would benefit from that, that's for damn sure. Consolidate the change guys.

i think to the extent I think what these top 10 's have done has shown now there is a definite changing of the guard taking place within the shows and this year has certainly ushered in that change far more quickly than probably many of us probably expected. The new faces brought in a different style of presenting both in and out of thr studios. my main hope is that many of the new faces are able to stay on the channels, but get the feeling that probably around 70 - 75% of the new faces will probably return to their original employment (strip bars, pole dancing clubs) once they can re - open and I expect those that do stay own have their own businesses (beauty salons, etc) and see the channels and extra income to help re - build their business back to pre pandemic levels and may hope haveput some inthe bank to invest in a new business once they decide to leeave the channels.

And I agree wit snooks i do hope the top 10's of these awards will make some babes think about as to how they put themselves across on the channels both in and out of the channels and many of the new faces have a style that makes them far more approachable and are als ofar more engaging ib the chat - boxes and phones gthan some have been in the pas, and again like snookered i'm not naming names!
And i would also hope that some of ther more established girls on the shows will view those top 10's and have a good think about what they need to do to get back in the mix for 2021.And i'msure the answer for many is pretty simple.

As for the channels, let's hope also the channels view the top 10'as and hope that also reflects a change on their business model one some form. The channels should be applauded for keeping going throughout this pandemic and I suspect the effects will be felt for quite a while like some many businesses. I think they will probably sit down at the end of the year and plan out 2021 as best as possible and usher in 2021 with a different look.

TIMEs are indeed a changing on ther channels I'm sure!!

I'm not keen on the b/g either, but on the whole Serenity's made a great impression on me this year. I must admit I wasn't expecting her to be as high as no.5 on the list, but like you I cheered to see her reach that position.

Exactly right, well said Joannis. I think Maria and Michelle both did brilliantly in the night award, considering the limitations they have to work with.

Yes you're right Dazzler, nobody was tipping Jamie Jones beforehand, so let's give her the credit she deserves for her terrific 2nd place in the day award. It's a stellar achievement, which has been a little bit overlooked with all the nice buzz about Grace Elisabeth's win. A real dark horse, as you said.

^^ I think what you have both pointed out, just goes to show how fickle some of us can be. Grace has been a breath of fresh air this year & has managed to capture everyone's imagination. Some of the attraction is obvious, some less easy to explain, just that X-factor, but not as far ahead of the field as is made out, with some great looking babes who have performed consistently well & have run Grace close.
Have we forgotten that Jamie Jones won 2019 Newcomer Of The Year, this 2nd place in the Babe Of The Year is a natural progression & is a sign that she's built a solid fan-base which should stand her in good stead in the years to come. Will be interesting to see if Grace can keep her own momentum going from this point forward.
