Interesting comments regarding the "health of the shows".

XP doing better than the more and longer established BS and S66 is absolutely a good thing, however if you looks at the girls who made the semis, only Maria Smith is what I would class as "new" (having debuted on them in 2019). Going by Charlemagne's A-Z resource, Jennifer debuted back in 2014, Michelle in 2008 and Caty in 2007. Caty and Michelle therefore having been on the various channels for a combined quarter of a century!

Whilst there does seem to have been more new girls than ever before appearing on the channels in 2020, in my view the fact that this award is being dominated by show "veterans" doesn't indicate that the shows are in "good health". Good health would be if there was almost like a conveyor belt system, girls moving on being phased down, newer, keener, more motivated girls taking their place and this award would then be an indicator of that. Does the fact that has not happened mean people are voting for their favourites regardless of performance or the newer girls are not as good as the older ones?

Even going back to the last eight round, Bella would be the most recent girl to join the channels (in 2017) and of the last eight in the competition, if I have done my maths correct, they have an average of being on the channels for 8 years 3 months.

Caty or Michelle may very well win this award and I have voted for Michelle every round (and will continue to do so unless she meets Maria in the final and if she wins the award she will absolutely deserve it from her shows - seriously compare the effort Michelle puts in to the likes of other longstanding girls like Jennifer Jade, the twins, Ella etc), but if they do I don't think it bodes well for the "health" of the shows, then again I don't think how these results have gone is an indicator that the shows are in good health either.

Just my thoughts.

All the more reason to vote for Maria. She’s been like a breath of fresh air this year. Not only astonishingly attractive but also makes a real effort with outfit changes & performance. She would be a worthy winner!
