The Sun, the Daily Mail and some random English Language Free paper from Spain aren't what most sensible people would call credible sources. As for that nonsense from New York it's been proposed...and rejected 3 times in 2015, 2017 & 2019. The first time was after the 2015 Ebola Outbreak.

TBH locking up COVID deniers (not dissenters) seems a fair response to save lives.
