RE: Impact wrestling discussion on 5STAR
No Surrender PPV review
the show started with a video tribute to Dreamer that told his whole 25 year wrestling story very well, i liked it
match 1 Decay vs. XXXL and Tenille Dashwood
not a great start to the PPV this was really just a glorified squash to get over Decay and push there new member Taurus who has come up for AAA in mexico, everyone got to do something but really XXXL where just there for Taurus to through around, was sad to see Tenille lose again she needs to move on,

match 2 Eddie Edwards and Matt Cardona vs. Brian Myers and Hernandez
this was much better a truly exciting tag match was full of action from bell to bell,
it was booked clever as Eddie kept having to battle solo as Matt was always not there for the tag making it look like he was screwing him for his web show mate Brian but this was not the case, and in the end Brian screwed Matt for the win and started a new feud i think Brian and Matt will be at it until the next PPV and thats a good thing as they work well together,

match 3 Jake Something vs. Deaner
a good solid match, was heart a little by Deaner still learning how to be a heel after being babyface for a long time, Jake looked good was not tricked in the match and got the win the story needed , after the match VBD beat him up to keep there heat,

match 4 Triple Threat Revolver Match to find the X division number 1 contender,
i really liked this match thought it was a lot of fun but not sure i want to see it to often, was good to see something new though,
for anyone who didn't see it these are the rules taken from the impact website "Three competitors start the match. When one is pinned or submitted, another will enter the fray. The Triple Threat matches will continue until there are no more entrants, in which the final pinfall or submission will earn the victor a shot at the X-Division Championship!"
it made it a long match that at times you wondered if anyone would win but things did pick up each time someone new came in and the wrestlers seamed to like having more time than the X division talent normally get,
and it was a real surprise seeing Alexander as he is not a flip man and would take the X division in different places good booking

match 5 Texas Tornado No Disqualification Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match
this was a street fight type match with Steelz and Hogan doing what ever it look to win in true heel fashion, Havok crash into a steel chair fake knocking herself out leaving Navaeh to fight and lose solo,
after the match Navaeh really let rip on Havok i think they are going to split up , Navaeh is very good wrestler who i think would make a good babeface chasing the belt,

match 6 X-Division Championship Match: TJP vs. Rohit Raju
these two have faced each other way to much this feud has been going over 6 months now but this was i think there best match yet, in stead of the usual filps and tricks this match was a mat wrestling classic not what i was expecting at all and fair play to the 2 of them for doing something different TJP winning clean should hopefully see the end of the feud

match 7 Six-Woman Tag Team Match
this was the worst match of the night, it was rushed and had many errors and didn't make anyone look good, and worse it didn't even set up who the number 1 contender for the womans belt was, this was your classic go for a piss and food match, sad really considering the quality of the wrestlers in it, Grace, Jazz and ODB won

match 8 Impact Tag Team Championship Match
this was a 3 way dance The Good Brothers Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows defended against "Cowboy" James Storm and Chris Sabin and AEW's Private Party with Matt Hardy,
this was the best match of the night everyone was great storm and Sabin where great as underdog babefaces making a number of comebacks, the Brothers where the winners and looked really strong but it was also PP best ever match and it looked like they where going to win it as Matt got involved hitting the Twist of Fate to Sabin for i thought the win best false finish i seen in ages,
Matt was looking pissed at the end i fully expect to see PP back in impact to chase the belts,
9 out of 10 best tag match on impact in years
main event Impact World Championship Match: Rich Swann vs. Tommy Dreamer
Swann was always going to beat Dreamer but that didnt stop them having a good match, it was good old school story telling, Tommy had to overcome a dislocated little finger suffered midway through the match that proved impossible in the end, was good to see Swann take advantage like a true champ,
after the match Moose knocked both men out to set him as number 1 contender on the next PPV

before it went off air impact shocked everyone by showing the NJPW team of David Finlay and Juice Robinson in a vid saying they where coming to impact,
impact already benefiting from the AEW NJPR deal this could be very interesting
currently walking on the Sunny side of the street
