What is the matter with America, the 'religious' CPAC lot have a golden statue of the jaffa, and Cocaine Mitch is now saying he'd support the orange one if he won the nomination in 2024. It'll be interesting to see just how much hate and lies he spews forth, the 'religious' lot will no doubt eat it up and use it to spur on their right wing militia buddies. It's utter madness and I dread to think of the potential consequences.

In the hearings in Congress about the January 6th insurrection the acting heaf of the Capitol Police has said the threat to The Capitol complex is not over yet as they have evidence that some right wing nutjobs are planning to do something at The State of the Union address whenever that takes place

^Maybe it might yet have to be the first pre - recorded state of the Union address in history, I don't think it's ever been pre recorded before as far as I know, I might be wrong.

^How exactly could it be pre-recorded? The whole point is that the President delivers the address to a joint session of Congress in the House Chamber. He's not going to record it in the Oval Office for them to watch on a giant screen.

If there's a credible threat they'll secure the Capitol Building and get on with it just like they did for the Inauguration.
