what a load of rubbish England are all out for 112,
the batsmen look like they have never played spin in there lives, no foot work , playing for spin thats not there when the ball goes straight on, all keep stepping in front of there stumps making it easy for the bowlers to get LBW,
and i looks like a pitch that will turn a lot so god knows what England where thinking only picking 1 spinner,

Poor batting display from England. Looks like a poor decision to only play one spinner, especially as Anderson feeling his left ankle. England have a very long tail so top order need to perform.
Should also say pitch looks like breaking up at bowling creases lots of dust flying.

Ben Stokes got the England team a warning after he rubbed saliva on the ball.

The umpires cleaned up the ball with a disinfectant wipe.

England get deducted 5 runs if it happens again.

A good morning by England as they take 3 quick wickets for about 18 runs.

Pant edged a bowl to slip off Joe Root (he needs to bowl more often).

Several of the India batsmen had been out LBW to Leach. Every time the batsman asked Rohit Sharma if they should challenge, but he always said that they were out. But when Rohit himself was out, he challenged (unsuccessfully). He was obviously looking after no1.

India ended up on 145 all out. Root managed to get 5 wickets.

England are batting again and lost 2 quick wickets, currently 17-2.

But this isn't a test wicket
You need a team of two spinner and nine survivors.

How tragic was England's team selection for this match? They go with 4 seamers and they only bowl 27 overs between them in India's first innings. Not only that, in those 27 overs they take 1/79 whilst Joe Root bowls a few overs of spin and takes 5/8.

Well done Joe Root taking 5-8, kept India's lead to less than 50.
But all good work being rapidly undone.
I don't know what Bairstow was trying to do, only just got back out there must be booked on a flight straight back home.

I assume that Leach and Root will simply bowl through India's second innings and England's 4 seamers won't be required at all. Can they bowl India out for 48 or less? Andrew Strauss has said on TV that he thinks it's possible.

Let's hope India have another nightmare like they did against Australia, sadly don't think so. I think England needed another 100 to be honest.

India win by 10 wickets and lead series 2-1 as England collapse and are bowled out for 81.
