RE: Channel 674
I'm assuming that the start times will remain the same. Because if the start times of the channels were changing as you describe there would be no point in swapping them around.

Would that not have affected both channels on the epg?

Thanks for that. So presumably 673 will start at 1.00am after BSX finishes!? And 674 at 1.00am as well: as the 10.00 licence is only for 673. So us FV viewers will lose about 3 hours!?................I suppose it could be worse: we could have lost all of the shows!!? .......

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought channel 673 started at 10:00 and channel 674 started at 11:00. If that's correct, by swapping the channels around it would become possible for BSX to begin at 10:00 instead of the present start time of 11:00.

Well I've got freeview and don't bother to much now tbh just go onto the streams on the Web, so channel swapping doesn't really bother and time changes either

673 does start at 10.00 so at the moment we see the whole of that show: except for the last 30 minutes. 674 starts at 11.00 BUT is BSX until 1.00am when we get the last 4 hours of the show! So presumably (unless BSX goes on for longer?) our FV show could start at midnight !?............

As I say got freeview to and your bang on with the timings mate so like you wondering whats going to happen next week in terms of output, but as I said in my earlier post tend to watch via the Internet now, so also get what's going out on sky at the same time, so potentially loosing a lot of airtime on freeview is a big loss but let's see what happens in due course

If both channels are definitely going to continue then I would agree with you, as like you I can't think of any other reason to swap them around.

Anyway it was announced last night on channel 674 that BSX will be moving to channel 673 from next week and will now be starting at 10:00.

Your reasoning may be good, although it didn't answer The Silent Majority's question. It would surely have affected both the EPG listings.

Just out of interest, does anyone know if the current listings do indeed show BSX on channel 673 and Babestation on channel 674.

I'd check it myself, but sadly my remote control isn't working. I can still watch Freeview but I have no way of accessing the EPG.

RE: Channel 674
Maybe it's something to do with the new Ofcom freeview licence, and the Dutch licence no longer being used ?

Freeview Smile TV3, got a new Ofcom licence back in March
Babestation on Sky also got a new Ofcom licence as well

Info here https://www.ofcom.org.uk/manage-your-lic...es/updates
