Actually just watched the first episode last week. It looks to be more like The Last Kingdom than Game of Thrones.

Yes on season 2 and enjoying it, not as much dun dun dun moments as Game of Thrones or as much intertwining stories - i'm not selling it am i Bounce

It is good though, blood, fighting, storywise

I've watched the entire series mate and it is definitely worth a look - it does have some good battle scenes and some of the characters are really good. It does try to stick with historical fact at times but it also does divert off towards fiction at times, although this didn't stop my interest in the series.

It's not as good as Game Of Thrones (but few shows are in that genre imo) but it still holds it's own imo and Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha is awesome (and mega hot BlushBig Grin), there's quite a few hotties as the seasons move along Wink.

Did anyone see Celebrity 5 Go Fishing? Linford Christie, Les Dennis and Fern Britten muscling in on the genre. Going to be a tough act to follow. Or not. Big Grin

Can't be long now until Alan Partridge's 1997 show ideas ,such as youth hostelling with Chris Eubank and inner city sumo are commissioned.
