1- The Cold War Begins 1945-60
Another run from the usual team. Some predictable inclusions eg The Third Man, but plenty of less obvious choices.
2 - Cuba and a New Dawn
It's nice to see Derek Malcolm still just about alive when this was shot, and also disconcerting to see Simon Heffer doing his best Barry Norman turn, raving about films like Dr Strangelove.

Dennis Miller Plus One
Eric Bana has a new film, The Dry, which Dennis compared to Bad Day at Black Rock, which is good because that's what Eric's description reminded me of too. Eric started out as a stand-up, then went into sketch comedy, before full-time acting.

Whether he was doing this before he started subbing for Larry King, I dunno. Dana was a great guest, full of impressions and anecdotes and laughs.
DMPO - Dana Carvey again
He was slightly plugging his podcast, but mainly sharing old anecdotes of their heydays, and then he did more impressions in the 2nd half; Kirk Douglas, Paul McCartney and James Stewart are one thing, but it takes something to still do Burt Lancaster's voice in 2021.

3 - Vietnam, Pershing and the Fall of the Soviet Union
Nice to see inclusion of some films I have seen, like The Day After, amongst ones I haven't (yet).

Sputnik
George talks to Garland Nixon about the US picture, and why US foreign policy hasn't changed much since the election.

pt 2 of 7 - Eastern Delight
Briefly in Macedonia, then a bit longer in Bulgaria, and much longer in Turkey. Whilst in the snows of Eastern Turkey, he gets his fortune read from a coffee cup, which reveals he's going to meet a rich woman through an internet cafe, who'll make him jump like a kangaroo. But huh, that's what they all say.
pt 3 of 7 - Wild East - not really breaking sweat with these bloody titles
Starting in Transdniester (eh?), before going to Moldova to observe how poor the place is since communism ended (a bit like our future thanks to Brexit), and then a long plod around Romania. No spooky fortune tellers, but he did meet Ilie Nastase instead.

Classic British Cars - Made in Coventry
Mark Evans and the sort of semi-serious stuff that Top Gear sometimes does. How names like Riley and Alvis and Triumph shone and then dulled; also how some of the best racing drivers were women.
