The EURO 2021 Predictions League Competition

Welcome to the Euro 2021 Predictions League.
As in the Premier League comp all players will be placed in a league table from start to end based on their predictions.
The one difference in Euro 2021 of course will be the round robin phase followed by the knockout phase.

The round robin phase will run in three cycles of matches from Group A to Group F.
Prediction submissions will be for each fixture cycle in turn.
All submissions will need to be posted before the first kick off of each cycle.
Any submissions posted after first kick off will be disqualified in their entirity.
One joker can be played for each cycle of matches within the round robin phase.

Once we reach the knockout rounds prediction submissions will be needed for all matches in that round once again with submissions needing to be posted before first kick off in that round. One joker can be played for each knockout round up to and including the semi finals only.

There will be no jokers permitted for the final.

Below is the scoring format to be used at all stages.

Group phase scoring per match cycle.
Correct score after 90 mins plus stoppage time: 3pts
Correct result after 90 mins plus stoppage time: 1 pt
Joker on correct score only: Additional 6pts

Knockout rounds up to and including Semi Finals.

A correct score after 90 mins plus stoppage time will be rewarded with 4 points.
If the joker is successfully played on the correct score only it shall be rewarded with 8 extra points.
A correct result after 90 mins plus stoppage time shall be rewarded with 1 point.

Final:
Correct score after 90 mins plus stoppage time: 5pts.
Correct result after 90 mins plus stoppage time: 2pts

NO JOKERS IN THE FINAL.

In the event of tied points totals the following criteria will be used to decide the outcome.
1. Most correct scores
2. Most correct results
3. Most successful jokers

In the event of an absolute tie AFTER the final the answer to the following eliminator question will be considered.
Please state the minute of matches in which the first goal and last goal of the round robin phase is scored. I have specifically chosen the round robin phase for these two numbers because there is no extra time in this phase .
Two numbers will therefore be required.
If a goal is scored in stoppage time of the first half it will be counted as minute 45.
If a goal is scored in the stoppage time of the second half it will be counted as 90.
The number of correct minute submissions shall then decide the winner.
If still tied the cumulative minute difference between submissions and times of goals scored will determine the winner.
If it is still tied after that it will be declared a draw.

The first cycle of matches and the official opening of the comp will be posted HERE at 7pm on 1st June. This post will provide an advisory note on how to structure your posts to take into account the round robin eliminator question within your first posts.

Please put a 'J' or the word 'JOKER' next to your chosen match.
Please remember to post your submissions for all matches stated below before first kick off at 8pm on 11th June. Bits and pieces submissions will be disqualified as will submissions posted after first kick off.
You also need to post the answer to the eliminator question in the OP at the end of your first post.
Just put EQ: then the chosen minutes of first and last goal in the round robin phase.
