Preacher Season 1 Limited Steelbook Edition Blu Ray

Picked this up for a fiver and the steel book art work is beautiful and colours really striking even the inside artwork is great too, plus the extra touch makes this Steel book so good is the gloss finish definitely up there as one of fav looking steel books in my collection.
The picture quality looks fantastic as always a 1080p transfer and sound quality was great too with a 5.1 DTS-HD MA transfer and through a home cinema system it’s even better.

Picked up this Blu Ray steel book a while ago and it’s absolutely stunning not only great art work on the front and back but it has a gorgeous gloss finish.
The picture quality is stunning with a beautiful 1080p transfer along with the sound quality 5.1 DTS-HD MA transfer.

Mission: Impossible Fallout

Massive fan of the franchise and Tom Cruise. All tho I saw this in the cinema I wanted for a price drop before picking this up and luckily I got it as part of three Blu Rays for Tenner deal.
As always it’s 1080p transfer and the it looks stunning the attention to detail especially on the action set pieces breath taking. Sound quality it doesn’t disappoint either a Dolby Atmos transfer and sounds stunning.

Got this a day early, I choose the Amazon Exclusive Blu Ray Steel Book as the Warner Bros/HMV version sold out plus this one comes with a gloss finish. I prefer this art work anyway the only difference with this one and the other one is the front art work the inside and back art work are identical except this has a gloss finish. The art work looks fantastic front, inside and back for me the gloss finish helps the artwork and colours pop.
Picture quality wise as always a 1080p transfer and the film looks stunning you do get two discs a 4K disc of the movie and a Blu Ray, I will do a future review of the 4K quality at a later date.
Sound wise it’s a Dolby Atmos-TrueHD transfer and it sounds fantastic.

No digital copy only on the region 1 version of the movie which is a shame. As I said earlier comes with 2 discs a 4K version of the film and the Blu Ray version. Overall all love the steelbook and the movie highly recommend it.

Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse

Finally picked this up on Blu Ray, I never got round to seeing it on the big screen as at the time I was sick.
I did have a quick peek at the movie and I gotta day it’s fantastic and maybe on the way in being one of my fav Spiderman movies.
Picture quality is absolutely stunning, no sign of any grain and with the animation it really shows off how the beautiful the movie is on. Blu Ray. When I get round to picking up my 4K TV I may even re-buy it on 4K. Sound quality wise it’s stunning too and hearing it on a home cinema system is mind blowing.

The only disappointing thing is no digital copy of the movie which is a shame. The region one version of the movie has one.

Overall I highly recommend the movie and at a fiver now on Blu ray it’s a bargain.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

finally got round to picking this film on Blu Ray as I was waiting to get for a very good price and finally I have.
The picture quality is absolutely stunning, everything looks crystal clear and the colours look deep and rich. Sound quality wise the transfer is stunning especially if you have a home cinema system.

Star Wars (A New hope) 4K UHD

It took a long time for me to find a steelbook version of the film but it was well worth the time and effort. The steelbook itself is just beautiful, nice and glossy with the cover art depicting the original cinema poster, the back has a picture of C3PO and R2D2 on it. I watched the film on a Samsung QLED and the picture quality along with the sound is superb a vast improvement on the blu ray. You also get the blu ray version along with a bonus disc of extras.

A bit pricey but highly recommended.

Grimm Season 4 Blu Ray

Only got into the series from season 1 just after the show wrapped up but so far really enjoying it. I have seasons 1-5 on including this one so only need season 6 to have my collection complete.
The picture quality on Blu Ray is great everything looks so sharp and crisp abs of course with its 1080p transfers.
The sound quality is equally as impressive you get a 5.1/DTS and it sounds great.

Clint Eastwood - The Signature Film Collection (blu ray)

This boxset had been at the top of my wish list since for some time so when it was included in the Amazon prime day sale i just couldn't resist treating myself to it Every film that Eastwood has either starred in or directed from A Fistful of Dollars in 1961 to The Mule in 2018 are included. All the classics you would expect are here plus some underrated gems ( Tightrope, Pink Cadillac, Bird ) it really is a comprehensive collection, there are 61 films in total plus 2 bonus discs. Although This is primarily a Blu Ray collection there are 7 dvd versions included, (i assume that is due to copyright issues ) but one of them Thunderbolt and Lightfoot is definitely available on Blu Ray so i will just purchase it separately and swap it over.

This should be a must have in any movie lovers library.

I paid £159.99 and it's worth every penny.
