Tension in the Mark Allen/Reanne Evans match was palpable

Making it a Best of 5 is probably a good thing. Reanne did well from what I saw (the 4th frame, basically). Logically, she could prove a danger to players not as good as Allen.

Can't work out if that Union Jack on the hoardings is supposed to be shaped like the Isle of Wight or it's just a really old tatty, torn flag. A comment on the state of things?

Spotted Barry Pinches in the background this afternoon. I'm sure every time he gets through Cue School, or however he clings to the tour, it gnaws at Barry Hearn's soul like a throbbing bunion

^do I deduce from that comment it is a bunion Barry Hearn must be keen to get rid of???
