RE: All Elite Wrestling discussion Thread
first episode of Rampage was interesting
only 3 matches was about right for the 40 mins of air time it had once adds where took out ,
match one saw Kenny Omega vs. Christian Cage for the Impact Championship,
this was really good great pace to the match not rushed it was Cage best match in AEW yet, i was not expecting to see a belt change but i think Cage deserves it,
match 2 was Miro vs. Fuego Del Sol for the TNT Championship,
this was a non stop high energy match it only lasted 5 mins but they packed a lot in, Miro won looking good again but Fuego did enough to impress Tony Khan and was given an AEW contract,
the main event was Britt Baker vs. Red Velvet for the AEW Women's Championship,
this was an interesting match as AEW booked Baker the home town hero as a babyface in this match she got the big combacks and a we deserved win that that the fans went wild for, Britt was helped to her win by returning top British wrestler Jamie Hayter great to see her back in AEW after covid got in the way first time around,

NJPW had a big PPV last night and as expected Lance Archer dropped the IWGP US belt to Hiroshi Tanahashi and there by setting up a big match at All Out ppv with Mox, and Mox will win his belt back that night,
it also seams that Andrade was going to win the belt at AAA last night but AEW asked them to hold off on the belt change until Kenny wins back the Impact belt at All Out ready for the Elite v Bullet club matches that are being set up for next year in impact,
it also seams that Kenny will drop the AAA belt to Andrade at All Out,
its going to be a really interesting Autumn

I think it was omegas best match in aew too. I think that was down to cage, keeping a lid on any nonsense. Omega still did his silly mannerisms, but the match made sense and was well paced, some good near falls too. The only silly part was how long the ref was distracted, went on forever. The elites matches all make the refs look like complete idiots, they may as well not be there.
