BBC2 have a new doc on Amy Winehouse tonight at 9, MTV have a new doc on her at 8, and there's other repeats on BBC4 if you're morbid or were a big fan of the singer of such classics as "Fuck Me Shoes".

Hah, was I right or what? laugh

In fact, Wimbledon meant it got put back a fortnight, but a decent watch. Notably, he did a number, went off while the band did a number, then came back for another number & so on (though he did manage to stay put for the last half hour).

Tonight, SA repeat the Rolling Stones in Rock and Roll Circus at 9, in case you've missed it every other time before. Before that a CA repeat on Lou Reed's Transformer, one of the few albums in this series I've not then bothered buying.

A depressing offer on SA tonight at half 10 - BB King's last UK show, with Mick Hucknall and Ronnie Wood among his "special guests". I remember thinking BB appeared in a bad way, and knowing now that he would already have been fighting dementia by this stage doesn't help.

A new doc on "southern" music before it at 9 though, so even money on some Lynyrd Skynyrd mention among others.

UK TV Gold show quite a few music programmes, but it's mostly mainstream solid silver 70s/80's type rubbish. Last night however I did catch an interesting documentary on the Stones early career, which focussed a lot on Brian Jones. Didn't realise that by 1964/5 he'd fathered 4 kids by 4 different women lol. Well worth watching if it's repeated imo.

That gamble would have lost, it was bluegrass and banjos and fiddles, oh my. Still interesting, though.

Tori Amos in concert tonight on SA, BBC4 have Queen-based repeats from half 9

MTV are running some "classic" repeats all month for their 40th birthday, check listings for Unplugged sets from Nirvana and Pearl Jam, among others.

Eric Clapton's turn on SA tonight from 9, one concert followed by a documentary I think.

BBC4 have Pride-themed stuff and a Kylie concert instead.

BBC1 repeat the dreary R Stones doc Crossfire Hurricane around half 10. Slightly more promising is a new half hour on Charlie Watts on BBC2 at 10.

BBC4 are in a reggae mood from half 9, with a Bob Marley doc and then other general compilation.

SA have Jeff Lynne's ELO in concert from 9.

It's Nirvana's turn on BBC2 at half 9; for those not sticking with IoW on SA.
