The US continues on its descent into a failed state with the Texas abortion law. Not able to outright ban abortions after the Supreme Courts Roe v Wade decision they are banning all abortions after 6 wks including in pregnancies caused by rape & incest, when most woman don't even know they are pregnant at that time. Furthermore they are empowering the people of Texas to essentially act as bounty hunters allowing them to sue anyone seeking or aiding in an abortion, not only by allowing it to happen by The State of Texas will give a $10,000 reward to anyone who carries out a successful suit.

When I say anyone I mean anyone, not just the woman seeking the abortion or the healthcare provider carrying it out but the neighbour or Uber diver who takes the woman to the clinic can be sued as well. The new law would allow a rapist to sue his victim for aborting a pregnancy resulting from the act of rape.
