The new owners wanted to meet with Steve Bruce last week, but he wasn't at the club as no training was taking place due to the international break. They will inform him at the earliest opportunity which is likely to be today.

The inevitable has finally happened as Steve Bruce has left Newcastle today.

Bruce was appointed by Ashley as a cheap option,to paper over the cracks in his football empire and while doing his best with both hands tied behind his back. Surprised new syndicate didn't have s ready made replacement to come straight in, will be very interesting to see who does come in another club that has become a bit of a poison chalice.
