What team will the managers put first squad or reserves

Wenger always gives his youngsters a chance in the Carling Cup, regardless of who they're playing. I'm sure Benitez will also make some changes, especially as he knows Wenger will be fielding a younger side.

Arsenal will most likely be made up of youngsters (Wilshere, Ramsey, Merida etc.) and a couple of players lacking first team action and 'fringe players' (Silvestre, Eduardo, Sendoros, Bendtner etc.)
Also Nasri should start as he's just came back from injury i believe

Liverpool will probably be a bit stronger mixing first-team and fringe players e.g. Ngog, Riera, Babel, Agger, Lucas etc.
And like Arsenal Liverpool also have a big name back from injury in Aquilani who might also start

Im expecting a quality game tonight and ive gotta feeling Arsenal will smash 'em
A repeat of their 6-3 game at Anfield a cupla years back will be good to watch
And ive been right about Liverpools last 4 games (lose to Chelsea, Sunderland, Lyon and beat Man U) so im putting a fiver on Arsenal to win

I don't think Liverpool will field too weak a side as Benitez desperately needs another win, even after the weekend..... If they lose tonight it's back in the doldrums for them and the knives will be out again. He probably won't risk Gerrard as he's not really fit, but i'll bet Torres is on the bench, just in case things are going wrong.

In all honesty this is probably their best chance of a trophy this season....They're almost out of Europe and have realistically next to no hope of winning the Premiership.

Aquilani has only played 15 mins of reserve team action so will be on the bench. Hopefully Babbel has a great game as Liverpool will need all the players focused for the season ahead.

ill be happy to see aquilani play around 20mins hopefully none of the stupid arsenal players do a stupid tackle on him. hopefully babel can produce a good game!

Well Arsenal didnt quite smash em as i predicted but definitely deserved the victory, couldnt really see Liverpool winning at all tbh
