Mine was booked in for December 23rd as soon as the website would allow under the old 6 month interval. When they started telling us to get it sooner i was offered one 30 miles away..... On December 22nd.

its just Bojo trying to frighten people into getting the jab, the data is now coming in from a number of different tests around the world and they are showing that if you have 2 jabs you are between 40% and 70% protected from the new strain , the top end which has been seen for people who are double Pfizer is almost as high as AZ was giving people against delta which was seen as very exceptable by everyone,

its worth keeping in context that everything coming in is showing that Omicron is far milder than the previous types, every day more date is coming in WHO say they should be able to call how strong it is within 7 days so fingers crossed it could be some good news, and hopefully see a lot less death than at the moment from delta

As I understood it, you need the third jab to get up to the 70% mark.

3 jabs 70% 2 is about 40% which is shocking

In the case of the 2 jab protection against Omincrom, it drops off a cliff after 3 months to around 10% protection, hence the urgency for boosters. This data was for Pfizer & AZ, still awaiting results for Moderna.
