HALL OF FAME Discussion Thread

We don't have a 'Miss Hall of Fame 2021', all we do is induct girls into our Hall of Fame.

I'm sure that Lovebabes will be back soon

Rebecca Kelly clocked 5 years in June this year - surely she deserves a place in the HofF?

You can nominate any girl that meets the criteria once the voting starts. There are many deserving candidates, Rebecca included.

Still no sign of Lovebabes. I hope that he is well.

I feel that we need to continue with the nominations without him. He can take over for the voting stage on his return.

So the awards will go live tonight where will be nominating 3 girls this year.

Think having three babes inducted into the Hall Of Fame is a great idea but no more then that i think we should stick to three babes because otherwise the award becomes less prestigious and any old babe would go in.

And that way it is harder for the babes to get in and it is always a debate like saying oh my god i can't believe she's not in , it makes it more fun that way.

The increase to 3 inductees per year is a welcome one, & it has been partly done to accommodate the many overlooked babes, ie one of the 3 inductees has to have made their debut on the shows a minimum of 10 years ago. These are babes that pre-dates many forum members babeshow viewing. Whilst some of the younger members missed out on watching these babes perform live, I can guarantee that they will match up in terms of quality against babes of more recent, & future eras. They certainly wont be any old babes. This new format is no less prestigious, & is a long overdue enhancement. It is in our hands as forum members to ensure that the quality of the inductees, by the way we nominate.

Have to say really great idea to have a new category for girls from the first 10 years of the shows, recognition for some who built the business is long overdue, makes it hard choices this year though

I agree the increase to 3 is a good idea.

It might also be worth considering ‘lapsed eligibility’ like they do in most sports halls of fame. E.g. if a girl is nominated, say, 3 times and doesn’t get voted in, then I guess it’s not in the stars — she could be deemed ineligible, clearing the way for others.

Just a thought

Lots of different girls being nominated, so far there's around 50 girls been nominated by our 19 members. A lot of these girls are a pleasant blast from the past.

I'm going to need a larger spreadsheet.

I opted for a few of those who've gone and likely not coming back - whilst there are some quality names and choices still on the shows, then surely they've got time left to earn a spot. And if this contradicts me having voted in previous years for babes still on shows, well, that was then then.

Restricting it to "six of the best" may concentrate minds more than in other competitions.
