They are UK regulatory rules. They have to be complied with else an operator could face sanctions. What is not specified is how they are to be complied with. BS have chosen to try to ape the old TV standards and practices. Presumably because they didn't wish to put any obstacles - like age verification - in the way of causal browsers stumbling across the streams online. They think you should have to put up with fta content being curtailed to allow for this. It's up to every user whether to encourage them them in this belief with continued spending.

Shame it has ended up this way, not beneficial for anyone. As said by Jess West in the Gold show thread, their earnings are down with these new rules. Anyways, hopefully things improve next year. Happy new year’s everyone.

Thanks for the good review @Ryuken, now if only BS would pay the girls as high a % as the other platforms. Maybe a little less as there are the overheads of the studio sites to run, maybe tweak the % have a flat fee if you want to use there tech / studios and a higher payout you work from home. (works for some of the big studios very well).
