I wonder if Cummings will be scathing enough to make the report damning

Sue Gray will ask him if he's got any evidence. Cummings keep saying things but now needs to provide proof of what he's saying to the papers.

Previous defections have been on point of principal or policy differences.

This is just sheer self preservation. He's clearly getting so much grief from constituents he thinks he won't get re-elected as a Tory.

This far from a general election and not even waiting to see if a new leader can turn it around just makes him look a gutless prick.
