You can't trust anyone Dan, I heard that a channel had planned to call themselves Eriba 61, but after being threatened by the company and The Caravan Club with legal action, they chose something else. The man in charge of the club at the time Frank ''Shaky Jake'' Smith, (nicknamed so, due to his insistence of shaking both hands at the same time upon meeting), apparently said that the only channel that he'd ever consider okaying, would be one that featured women ''wearing bedazzled cardigans with the norks cut out'', the man had class. A channel owner did try it, but the static created interfered with their signal, so he bribed ''Shaky Jake'' (allegedly) with a five year subscription to ''Titters in Knitters'' to help come up with a new name that would keep on the right side of enthusiasts, and Club Paradiso was born.

Oh and I tried to use a fork and colander welded together to pick up that channel you're on about, just got static Dan, but I did pick up a different channel where a small hairy creature would pop out and scare ladies from time to time...it was just weird.

Is this year the tenth anniversary of the passing of Bob Paradiso? If so that was a fitting tribute, probably the most outstanding account of the genesis of a babechannel I have ever read. Generations of future historians will be mining that resource for centuries to come.

I'm sure skully knows this but the rest of you probably are not aware that the teutonic caravan company ERIBA made their first van in 1957 and they called it the "Ur-Troll" so a very apt name for a plagiarising babechannel run by a big-toothed, hirsute, pipe-smoking hobgoblin.

If you tell that to younguns today skully they'll nivver believe it, them with their 3D-printers and that new fangled meccano. Panel beating a kitchen utensil into a parabaloid and welding it to a sawn-off basting ladle was a rite of passage for our generation. The resolution was measured in bits per fortnight but that was more than good enough for Club Paradiso.

It's cultural appropriation mate. The University of East Anglia union banned students from wearing sombreros so I think we should take a leaf out of their book and ban all references to E**** caravans. In these instances we should ask ourselves "what would scottishbloke do?" and the answer is obvious - ban the muffins and complain that it wasn't done earlier.

Incidentally my latest Lori video has got me stumped re babemoves classification and nomenclature. Lori uses one of the eight varieties of palmthong. It's forward overarm, that's not in doubt, but is the palm cupped or straight. The fingers are straight but there is a definite angle between the metacarpals and proximal phalanges. I think we should recognise another category of hand orientation ie hinged as an intermediate form. It's a pity thewatcher is no longer around as he was excellent at adjudicating on these issues.
