Episode 3 of The Ipcress File on ITV

Never read the novel nor ever got round to watching the Michael Caine film, so don't know how Joe Cole compares to him. Just Joe Cole being Joe Cole lol. A bit clunky in dialogue but visually quite a stylish early 60's cold war spy drama (despite a visible gaff on the boat lol). I'm quite enjoying it so far

The Painter and the Thief
A Czech painter has two of her works stolen by two Norwegian thieves who are easily caught on security camera. She befriends one of them, even though he has no idea where the paintings are. Then he gets in a car crash, and goes to jail for a year. But she remains friends, and even finds one of the lost paintings.

'Yes Prime Minister' - Never gets old and should be voted Britain's best comedy ahead of 'only fools and horses'. Not what BBC 4 should have been retained for however in my view. Those who argued so vociferously to keep it, did not have these regurgitated shows (no matter how good) in mind!!

Also 'My Rembrandt' Sky Arts. Based around the opinions/reflections of collectors - both Private and Art Galleries!

Rick Stein's Cornwall
Talked to Barry Humphries about a near death experience he had there in the early 60s, then shared a love of John Betjeman, and his fish cake recipe.
