Decades before Michael Portillo started pratting around the country, journo Miles Kingston made a rather shorter series, visiting railways like the West Highland line and the Great Western line and so on. Dreary though it was to hear about "Concrete Bob" yet again, at least he managed to discuss Glenfinnan Aqueduct without having heard the name of Harry Potter.
