2 - Manchester's Whitworth, with Diana Ali

A mercifully short repeat from 2002 as Brian Hanrahan talked about trying not to get blown up in a minefield after the surrender.
Falklands War : The Forgotten Battle
Ben Fogle tells what happened to Naval Party 8901 when the war started, and how so many of them managed to buck the odds and survive. Weird to see John Nott not only still alive, but present to defend the colossal failure of the government to foresee war starting.

4 - Ulster's Folk Wonders - Marie-Louise Muir went to the Ulster Folk Museum, which looked like one of these Beamish-esque living history things.

Not that many films - check. Sadly dead - check. There won't be an 8th series at this rate as I doubt they would want to include Russ Meyer.
The Directors - Antoine Fuqua
Did "Gangsta's Paradise" and went into movies off it. Southpaw is a decent film.

They all made it. There was never much drama of "ooh will we make our daily distance?" because they always did. The three women were also 50+ but despite ducking a couple of the along-the-way challenges, there was no drama about it. Anyway, everyone made it to the big mosque in Istanbul, and most seemed to have enjoyed the experience. Whether there will be a 4th series next year will depend on RL issues I guess.
The Road to the Scottish Isles
pt 1 of 3 - Donegal to Derry
A mixed bunch again, Larry Llewelyn-Bowen being a pseudo-antagonist, and Nick Hewer the only particularly old person. Some hilarity when the 6 walkers split into two groups of three, with the swots going the wrong way and trespassing on some bloke's driveway.
