ART OF ARCHITECTURE - Ross Sharp

Concentrates on old Edwardian houses and similar dwellings from the period!! Not my kind of design aesthetic, but I was fascinated in his insistence upon using old school 'technical drawing' methods of creating first impressions for clients instead of CAD/CGI. To see someone utilise the ruler/set square approach was quite cathartic in a way, when set against the 'cold' mechanical use of a computer.

The Rising. I'm not really sure why it's scoring so low in reviews, but I really enjoyed it, a little slow at times, but still good.

^^ I've quite enjoyed the first couple of episodes, pretty sure that a similar theme has been done before, but so far, so good.

It's an adaptation of a Belgian show called Hotel Beau Sejour, but yeah, familiar theme, different take. I'm glad I stuck with it.

I thought the same until the last episode (only early yet I concede) stretched belief beyond breaking point in my opinion.

I will stick with it for another episode to see where we go, but I am tired of everyone coming up with the same 'supernatural' make believe programmes on too many occasions now. Few creators seem to have an original idea now!!
