Sean Connery R.I.P.

Sean Connery was more than an actor who played Bond, being a Scot he became part of Bond's back story.
Ian Fleming was still writing James Bond books after Connery appeared in Dr No in 1960. In You only Live Twice, written in 1964, Fleming gave Bond's parentage as being half Swiss and half Scottish.

Sad to hear about Sean passing away he was and will always be first and best ever James Bond, my favourite bond film is Goldfinger which he was fantastic in. RIP Sean

Sean's family are selling his 1964 Aston Martin DB5 at auction. It is expected to fetch up to £1.4 million which will be used to raise money for a welfare & good causes fund set up in his name.

^ They’ve also sold a Picasso he owned for £17.7m with proceeds again going towards good causes.
