Pretty clear it’s been given a little reboot not only are the special effects a massive improvement but they’ve dialled back the humour maybe it’s only for the first Ep who knows. The massive credit for how they dealt with the effects of war and suicide which was dealt with respect and grace and very thoughtful explained.

Is it worth watching as it’s now on Disney +

^^^ yes but don’t expect it to be like Season 1 and 2 as it’s very different.

Somewhat different, but also the same in many ways, not as many in yer face gags, instead has more subtle humour, it is very good still though.
I think the best way to describe it, is more mature. I don't think the changes are dramatic enough to make much difference in all honesty.

OK, I'll give this a go. Right from the very beginning

It’s actually been given a minor reboot and they’ve upped the budget big time. If anything Star Trek Strange New Worlds has more humour now then Orville lol. It’s not a bad thing with the changed just that it’s more mature.
