Got back from WrestleCarnival in Coventry about an hour ago and it was a fantastic show. Especially loved the emphasis on uk female wrestling talent with 4 of the 8/9 matches involving a UK female wrestler with 3 all women matches on the card including Lucia Lee v The Ava.

The Ava is a very familiar face to us on the forum as she's BS Daytime babe Macy Kate got to meet her after the show and she's really lovely

Looks like a wrestling ompany called WES could be the new 1PW

Wrestling is back after the summer break ,
I was in Southmead last night to watch a show from Evolution wrestling,
It was a sell out they had to get more chairs in the hall to seat everyone, it's one of the smaller venue Evolution work so to see just under 100 people in was very good,

It was a night when the heel stable Gold standard where in 4 out of the 5 matches as they continue to try to take over Evolution wrestling,

Match one was Mulligan v Simon Quest , I really enjoyed this it was to big men in a hard hitting match with some big moves , Forma Heavy weight champ Quest won , he's so over now he will be champ again, after the match he got beat down by gold standard lead by his brother Dale,

Match two was Gold standards Dale Johnson & Liam Jones v Gen Z in a tag match this was excellent to teams of high flyers, amazing gas pace and big spots really enjoyed it , gold standard won and beat up Gen Z after the bell until Quest made the save,

Match 3 was Gold standards Curt Atles v Ry Stevens one half of the current tag champs, I enjoyed seeing Stevens work solo , he fort well from underneath against he's more powerful opponent for a good win, the win was unique as he through Atles out the fire exit to the outside of the building and closed the door and got the ref to count the 10

Match 4 was Gold standards Leon Brando v Aluna Blue, Aluna is so far over she can do no wrong, she fort a great underdog match against the much bigger Leon , who gave her a hard beating before she out smarted him for the win, shes becoming a huge star ,

The main event was Brendan White v the Fox Kian Kelly, this was a interesting match as the Fox is usually a heel but played face here and was having a lot of fun working the crowd onto his side, Brendan was very good he can go far a big man and was not surprised to see him win and retain the heavy weight belt,

Watched Evolution wrestling last night at the hungerford community center in Bristol, it was the first time evolution had played this venue but it's only 4 miles away from a regular strong venue in Hanham so was expecting a good crowd and there was one 80 out of the 100 seats were sold,
Before the match all the wrestlers got in the ring and the bell was rung 10 times to show respect to the queen,

Match 1 was the debut of Shane Hooker. Hooker had to use his speed and agility to get the win over the big man Mulligan. I liked this match lots of energy to get the show going,

Match 2, old friends collided as Sonum ran through Aluna Blue. It looked like an impossible win for Blue, however she managed to get the roll up for a quick win. This was a good intergender match Aluna is the perfect underdog baby-face she's so over with the crowd, I would say most people match of the night, Aluna had new sexy outfit,

The first half main we seem a first time match as GL2s Ry Stevens faced Gold Standards Liam Jones. Using underhand tactics feet on the ropes, Jones got another win in his books as he defeated Stevens. My match of the night both men were excellent non stop action and big moves,

After the break match 4 was the GenZ open challenge, Brazen found a partner in the big man Mulligan. Already angry from his loss early on, he got his team the win with a monstrous Chokeslam.
Post match Brazen and Mulligan went for double powerbombs, until Shane Hooker rushed the ring with his “No Mercy Iron Cobra Sword” for the save. A good high flying match with genz doing there best Elite impression, interesting to see them join with hooker at the end,

The main event was debuting wild man Saxon Huxley just released by wwe looked to dethrone the chp Brendan White. Huxley did exactly what he planned to do, becoming the EVW heavyweight champion in his debut! This was a poor match it was so obvious that the ex WWE guy was going to get the belt, plus White was knackered after 10 mins , the crowd didn't care at all, Saxon was not over considering he had been on TV,

On Saturday night I was at Evolution wrestling show in Gloucester, a really good turnout around 150 people in , a number of ex WWE wrestler where on the card

the show kick off with a contract signing between Dale Johnson and Simon Quest for their hardcore match later in the night
Simon added a stipulation to their last man standing match which meant Gold Standard could not be ringside. Johnson, Liam Jones and a returning Leon Hendrix replied to this request by putting Quest through a table.

In the first match of the night we seen the Heavyweight Championship on the line as Saxon Huxley retained his championship in his first defence! He got the win after giving Mulligan a “SkyHigh”., Not a great first match was a bit slow and Saxon still not over with the fans,

Second was the return of the “Queen of Mean” Lana Austin. She faced local star Aluna Blue! However it was Austin who walked away victorious after hitting a hanging DDT., Lara was excellent at working the crowd she came over as a total bitch who was to good to be working a small indie show, they worked well together was fun

Gold Standards Liam Jones collided with Lee Hunter. After a hot start and a brutal contest, Jones captured the win with a piledriver followed by a cloverleaf., A good match up until the outside interface got a bit much crowd got pissed off at the ref for missing it all, Lee hit a buck shot lariat which was impressive

Our first half main was absolutely chaos! That’s exactly what we expected with a four corner tag match! Smokin Aces eliminated Sinergy, Gen Z eliminated the Aces and GL2 retained after beating Gen Z using their signature “ChokeBomb”. This was very good match, all the teams were excellent working well together, even having 8 involved they all had something good to do, good to see Gen Z get there first win in months,

After the break we seen the debut of Rob Drake who was walked to the ring by Lana Austin. However the third member of GenZ, Shane Hooker got the win off the back of an impressive 450 splash. A good match to warm the crowd up after the break Lana great fun with the crowd, Hooker going to go far,

Finally it was time for the Last Man Standing match as brothers collided! Simon Quest went to war with his brother Dale Johnson! We seen Kendo sticks, chairs, figures, baking trays and a whole lot more! The war came to an end after Quest drove his brother through two stacked tables with a huge PowerBomb!, I loved this match was like watching czw at its best, proper old school 90 wrestling, both men hit crazy big moves, crowd was wild for the action, the jumps off the lader were mad, The finish through the table was cool , don't see these matches often ,

Only thing was the show was 3 hours long usually they are only just over 2 hours so some of the matched were a bit longer then needed

Went on Saturday night to watch Reach wrestling in Exeter, they mainly run shows in Plymouth and Tavistock so nice them to be a bit closer to civilisation, was a bit of a shame only 65 people come to watch the 6 match card,
The first 3 matches were not great match 1 was s heel squash, match 2 ended in a double count out, match 3 was just not very good but after the break we got 4 great matches
Match 4 was a tag match to decide the number 1 contenders the was a rare face v face match and was excellent fast high flying action, the women match was match of the night Mariah May was excellent and very sexy as the bad girl heel, the main event was for the south west heavy weight title the very talented Lance Cole retained,

Wrestling society show in Portishead on Saturday night,
They crowned there first heavy weight championship, the Saint won the belt,
Excellent woman's 3 on 3 tag match , the heel team was LA Taylor, Laura Austin & Nadia probably my 3 favourite bad girls,
Excellent 4 way cruiser weight match as well lots of high flying and no one messed up,
Not as many people in as last time I was there a couple of months ago when they sold out but still just over 100 people in so a good crowd
