Reason:
Because of Brexit you have to have your passport stamped when you leave Britain at Dover. And the French authorities don't a dam about adequetely maning their customs posts.

least all the disruption is taking away the fact that the brexit divorce bill has just topped the 50 Billion euro mark

The benefits of Brexit are going to be demostrated when Jacob Rees Mogg brings in the Brexit Freedoms Bill.

So it's a freedom to abolish the right to paid holiday.
It does away with the right to be paid maternity leave.
And you have the right to work as many hours in a week as your boss wants.
And there are various health and safety laws which will be removed because they are insignificant. (in Jacob's view)

Some smart people (and Gove) trying to make Brexit actually worth something, we'll see, I'm not that confident in them.
Hopefully they'll pull their collective heads out of their collective arses and find some middle ground. Re-joining not being an option is fine provided they can make something work, the people getting in the way of compromise need shutting up.
If the ignorance and blinkered view of some doesn't change soon, then they're just hurting the country for the sake of it, work smarter ffs!
