Actor Jordan Elsass who plays Jonathan Kent has quit the show for personal reasons, his character will be recast.

^^^ I know the personal reason why his left but out of respect for the actor not gonna posting way. But with his going through his done the right thing.

2.3 Wow, even with a 3 week gap for the Commonwealth Games I'm doing little better. This was a really busy episode, with an interesting swerve on the obviousness of the new arrival. Why Jonathan didn't think to suggest his team-mate was a drug cheat and shouldn't be on the team, or even mention this concern to his dad or much of anyone, was a curious/stupid bit of writing. The Steel outfit is like a less snappy Iron Man idea.

2.4 I'm a bit doubtful that giving Lois' antagonist a name incredibly similar to a leading adult actress is the best idea. The suggested drama of Lucy "revealing" what Lois is like falls down because it's a 50-50 call and I suspect Cat Grant wouldn't have folded as Chrissy did. Jonathan's drug sub-plot is like several other sub-plots, really.

2.5 Well, several developments, the silliest of which was Sarah's big do. The complete inability of characters to share problems, especially when they're similar, is really daft though.

It’s being reported that Actor Chad L. Coleman will be playing the season 3 villain. He has played a villain before DC in the show Arrow.
Elizabeth Tulloch who plays Lois Lane has said that Melissa Benoist has expressed a interest in appearing as Supergirl.

Maybe if she does, she'll tell these characters they might do better if they shared their problems more?

2.6 Lois' dad tries to get Lucy to a rapprochement, but it doesn't work out. John Henry and his daughter are surplus to requirements. Come to think, Chrissy didn't feature either, in an episode billed as "Lois and Chrissy do a deep dive into Ally Alston". Jordan finally realises Jonathan's secret. And Superman gets double crossed. Hmm...
