Guru Murthy is another of these showboating self - promoting types, who contribute nothing other than the further erosion of respect for public service, with his ignorant loud - mouth distortion of an MPs good intention. Yes MPs bring it on themselves too (witness last night in the commons) but I am afraid that Guru Murthy and his ilk (Tom Bradby included - look at his snide presentation of those same events) make the environment just as toxic as any MP! The lessons of Jo Cox and David Amess didn't stand the test of time - did they??

You are of course right Sandals! The same behaviour and language from any MP would result in his standing down (you would hope) leading to a by - election. It is time for the imposition of greater scrutiny and standards of journalists. The idea that he was merely stood down because of foul language alone, and not the rabid bias underpinning his outburst, beggars belief!!

The crowning glory that would put the cherry on the parfait of this collapse in the political landscape, would be the return of the Machiavellian Johnson!! Literally Nothing would surprise me now though!!

What a mess! UK is laughing stock around the world.

Sadly that is true!! We are isolated, no longer the fifth largest economy, have lost influence on others (who we used to align ourselves with) A sorry state indeed!!

It is an utter farce and really quite disgraceful.
Charles Walker was right.
Various Conservative MPs are consumed with self interest over the interests of the electorate.
It reflects extremely badly on all of them really.
All very undignified and distasteful.
Cue the dogfight leadership election episode 2 where no doubt more skullduggery will commence.

Are you serious,an mp would slither there way out with an excuse,i have mis spoken,have you not watched interviews they are grade a at it.It is the one and only thing they are good at.
