I am a fan of the Jack Ryan Amazon Prime Original. Having said that, I have got to admit that season one was significantly stronger than season two. I do not appreciate the second season as greatly for two main reasons.

a) The character development of Jack Ryan is not totally believable or for the good of the show. All of a sudden, Jack is an action hero of sorts and capable of rather radical action maneuvers.

b) Jack's girlfriend disappeared. She is gone with precisely zero explanation.
