I'd watched the two films, Mystery Road and Goldstone, didn't know they'd made a show, so I'm gonna buy the lot at some point. The older version of the character is played by Aaron Pedersen, who I loved in Jack Irish, which is also worth a look if you haven't seen it yet, Guy Pearce plays the title character.
