Star Trek: Picard The Last Generation.

A very satisfactory end to series 3.

1/3 - 7 new "pilgrims" and when Su Pollard is about the starriest of them, you know they're in trouble. Even with a 25 stone comic around, the worst trouble is when half one team gets lost and arrives a mere 45 minutes after the others.
P - TRtP
2/3 - many staircases and bridges, a train ride to help them keep to a deadline, and a telling set-piece in a suckling pig restaurant, where most of the pilgrims showed little interest in the concerns of one of their number. Tellingly, a trail hyped the dramatic exit of one of them... which must happen in the last episode instead.

Own The Sky
The story of David Mayman and his lifelong dream to fly a rocket pack. This led him to two other helpful people, and eventually to a serious skin graft on his leg, and also plunging into the waters of Sydney Harbour. But despite the dismay of his wife and kids, he moved on to jet packs, and finally reached glory in a stunt flying near to (but not too near to) the Statue of Liberty.

3/3 - a mosque, a synagogue, a fire station, and a final gathering, though the hyped exit just shows their supposed group connection was nothing of the sort.

But I hope they find somewhere else to do another series. And maybe persuade some Sikhs or Hindus or Methodists along for a change.

The Listening Post
Marking 6 months of Elon Musk running Twitter and how bad it now seems. Also, how Venezuela's opposition media fights back.

Charlie Mackesy - The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, The Horse and Me
Author of some book wot has been on best-seller lists for 3 years. Friend of Richard Curtis, long-term friend of Bear Grylls. In the spirit of "if you've nothing nice to say, you should say nothing", I can add no more.
