The Synopsis for Ep 11 titled “Complications” Season 3:

BEST LAID PLANS – Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) helps Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) prepare for a procedure but must leave the boys with her to help John Henry (Wole Parks) and General Lane (Dylan Walsh) track down the Mannheims. Meanwhile, John Henry and Nat (Tayler Buck) butt heads over her desire to help Matteo (guest star Spence Moore II) and Bruno’s (Chad Coleman) plans go awry as Peia (guest star Daya Vaida) condition worsens.

So glad it’s been given a Season 4 for what’s gonna happen in the Season 3 Finale big cliffhanger especially with a certain arch enemy.

More information regarding Season 4, there a series of negotiations with Warner Bros. Television and Berlanti Productions in regards of 4th Season hence why it took so long to announce it however Season 4 will be 10 Eps shorter then usually 13-15 eps again probably to cut down a little on the budget as it’s 2-3 million dollars pre eps.

Some bad news for season 4 they have got rid of most of cast only 4 of the main cast will be returning. Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch will be returning along fellow cast members Michael Bishop and Alex Garfin who play there sons. Actor Michael Cudlitz who will be playing Lex Luthor will be promoted to a season 4 regular.

I hope that by culling the cast they keep the visuals, hopefully we'll see some of them guest, because it'll be weird otherwise.

Thing is, American telly is such a cut-throat business that any show which lasts this long is working a miracle every time it gets renewed.

The visuals will be same so not gonna be issue. I knew something would happen because the eps are expensive to make and the new owners at CW are culling everything. I can see season 4 being the last season.
