Global Public Square
Fareed celebrates 15 years of his show by talking to Jake Sullivan and then Bjorn Lomborg, and with a lengthy clip compilation.

I've been watching the Gallows Pole series on BBC. Mostly because I know the locations where it was filmed and the village where the story really happened.

It's a good story but I'm can't get round this inprovised acting. Where there isn't a script for the actors just a guide as to what happens.

There were too many dead ended conversations and silent moments. Yes I know that this is Yorkshire but the speech was slower than normal.

HARDtalk: Linton Kwesi Johnson
Zainab Badawi treats the legendary poet (marking 50 years in the business with a new book collection) like someone in the dock accused of slagging the government. She seems to be angling for a turn presenting Question Time.

Comedy Gold: Hi De Hi
From 2021, so a few contributors have since become unable to contribute; Gyles "fingers in many pies" Brandreth chipped in because Simon Cadell was a mate, even though they'd also got his actress sister Selina in to talk about him too.

A new series starts with someone with some idea of the entertainment required. After pushing that he owns a theatre, he found someone who lived in a castle, someone who helped a charity in Battersea, and finally a wacky lot of theatricals in Holland, one of whom even wrote cello sonatas. Andrew's brother Julian was most bemused by his elder brother's findings.
WDYTYA? Claire Foy
To Carlisle Castle for a sad game of Paper Chase, and then to Manchester for an elaborate court case (with a court cartoonist brought in to help illustrate!) which turns out to be famous, but in which her two relatives are found innocent.

Unspun World with John Simpson
In a commitment to impartiality, John blamed the War in Ukraine on Russia, the War in Myanmar on Russia, and Covid on China, then finished off comparing Putin to Stalin. It's a bit late for a knighthood from Boris, though.

Going to the Isle of Man points up how Treasure Hunt was the same sort of show 40 years ago. Susan went to the Laxey Wheel, saw the statue of the Bee Gees, had a train trip, had a go in a Peel P50, and even got on an e-scooter.
SC's GDO - LANCASHIRE
5 series and finally come to Morecambe, as well as many rather over-visited places in Lancs (Pendle, really?)
