The final special show of the 4, and anyone who saw all 4 would have noted the overlap between them. Picasso was 5 years older than Dave when he died, that might reflect on his earlier comments on his own possible life-span.

Overall, though, a worthwhile showcase.

The "Discovering..." team devise another way to rehash much the same old material, though it lets Ian Nathan out of the studio to visit oldies like Angela Allen and the now-late Derek Malcolm on location, and even go to Vienna himself (it's not all work, work, work).

After last week's trip to Vienna, Ian only gets as far as Kings Cross this time. Unlike the previous edition, this is a film I've not seen. Good to see they've got a new face among the reviewers, though.

The former is too quiet, so they move to the other, where they both catch chubs, and once "sideways" Bob encourages Paul to "fish backwards", he catches something else too. Plus, Ted's 10th birthday.

I see SirAssAlot once had a Fishing shows thread. Bit late to change tack now, though.

Doze off as Debbie McGee seems to be the only "celeb" able to offer any memories of the convenience foods of the time (Paul Daniels loved a Pot Noodle - make up your own punchline about magic)!
