Repeated with that Last Stand doc, this had him more or less doing his act for the benefit of Wogan, Parky and Des. It's interesting to spot which stories clearly became embellished with frequent telling. Most illuminating is an early clip about him appearing at a WMC, which I think came at a time when he was out of favour on telly, and so suddenly slagging off the small screen audiences in favour of live (and paying) ones.

Decent round-up from S4C which rather dwelt on her horrendous marriage to Peter O'Toole, a controlling scumbag. But television and theatre enabled her to prove her mettle in the end.

Could not watch too much of it though! Man how they have ruined a once world class sport! It didn't need reinventing, but still they gave it this 'modern day' 'razmataz' with over the top player introductions, stage lighting etc. Worse though - I still can't get used to the first to 11, short attention span points system - is the ludicrous change to the camera angles to 'side on'. What muppet thought that this would be a better angle to get a perspective on how the shots and rallies were being played out?? As for the WTT Web commentary?? The darts was in - depth political analysis in comparison!
