True Detective: Night Country Episode 1

A bit early to judge this as it's rather a slow burning opener introducing all the characters and elements. The arctic visuals are quite stunning at times, especially a couple scenes with animals. Jodie Foster is OK. Let's see where this spooky tale goes.

Echo episodes 1 & 2. Good stuff, interesting character and I like the cast, young Maya was spot on casting, no complaints so far.

The dubious Mark Urban relates the winners of the Rory Peck Awards, for journalism in war-zones and that.

FZ takes most of his show to plug some new documentary about a North Korean family who managed to defect to South Korea, via a perilous trek to Thailand.

Meet The Press
Kristin Welker refers incessantly to "Caucus Eve" but does bring back Chuck Todd to chat to for once. Her style of show follows a rather different formula to his.

For the first time in 3 months, looking at countries like Ecuador and Sudan which aren't experiencing genocide (except Sudan probably is).

Hoover Institute - Youtube

'Uncommon Knowledge' - Donald Trump and the Supreme Court.
Richard Epstein & John Yoo

An interesting and elevated discussion around the ongoing legal jeopardy facing D Trump, and the possible - if not likely - outcomes! Interestingly, each of the contributors - Eminent Lawyers - took contrary positions, whilst agreeing the same premise, namely, that The Govts case was full of holes and so badly argued and presented, to the point of being amateurish. Mr Epstein took the view that acquittal was likely, while Mr Yoo still believed that conviction on at least some of the counts was still a plausible outcome!

This YT channel has been a very important find for me, as it engages the cells that TV now in the round has abandoned!
