RE: When to Walk away......
I'm not all the way there yet. The shows have changed beyond recognition in my time, & not always for the better. I parked the shows 10 years back for various reason, one being a babe that I had called regularly left the business, who has by chance recently returned. If I'm honest, I think I was close to the walking away moment.
When I left the forum behind I got on with other stuff until the pandemic brought me back here. I re-engaged with a few members & to my surprise fitted in ok with many new faces. This forum is much more that the shows to me now, I could happily visit without any involvement with the shows.
The heydays of the shows are long gone, but I can still find enough to hold my interest, it is still fun, but a different kind of fun, despite all the gimmicks it feels like there's less variety, but let's face it, this genre is limited anyway. It feels strange to be down to just 2 babeshow companies, it's like Rangers & Celtic playing each other all the time.
It does feel like one last hurrah & I'm gonna ride this wave for a little longer. I have no concerns about how I will eventually handle the no fun moment, as I've already been there to an extent. The shows are habit forming, but it's not that hard to break the cycle.
I expect that once I finally stop interacting with the shows I will feel a bit fake being here, I will miss passing on info that I learn through the shows, taking a back seat will require a bit of adjustment, but as I've said, plenty more going on here to entertain.

RE: When to Walk away......
^^ Being a viewer only is certainly a different experience, the interactive involvement obviously has many benefits, you will be treated differently by some performers & punters alike. The underlying curse of the freeloader is always there. This was highlighted for me the other day, as I entered various babes rooms with low credit, some said hello, & left it at that, one or 2 pushed a bit further asking to join them to see more. Later that evening I topped up with a view to spend on a specific babe the next day. From that point forward the mood changed many more babes perused me in a more aggressive manner. It's like when you enter some shops & are immediately asked what you are looking for, or if you need any help, & you have to politely reply "I'm just looking" Imagine if they knew how much money you were carrying or had in your bank account ? Would they push you to buy the most expensive item in the shop.
The fact that a babe can see your credit balance seems ethically wrong, should it even be legal ? It is just another tool for BS to attack punters with & that is how it is starting to feel at times. The tricks & cons have always been there from day one, but it all feels much more mercenary. Once the fakery was just that, acting out an orgasm during a call, now it's triggered by a £5 two second buzz from a toy that may or may not be inserted, activated, or even there at all. I have very little confidence in knowing who to trust in this regard.
It feels like too many babes all chasing the same pot of gold & the sense of entitlement hangs in the air like a bad smell.
Don't get me wrong, there are great examples of genuine babes, but it just feels that there are less of them. Even so they are all working in a system that is bound by deception & dishonesty. I do wonder if what seems like the ever expanding webcam industry has destabilized the babeshows as we use to know them & the experienced performers are under more pressure from so many new babes all vying for a piece of the action.
