Don't they at least have a umbrella in Downing St, or are they bothered with the old football headline 'wally with a brolly'.

RE: Rishi Sunak - and his miserly Government
And so begins weeks on end of scaremongering particularly on the Tory side. 'Don't vote for the opposing side. It will be the end of the world if you do and we will all doomed to eternal damnation.'

The usual question of 'Where is the money coming from?' will be asked in respect of all manifesto policy pledges and singularly receive vague and unsatisfactory answers in pretty much every case.

Even as a politics junkie there is a part of me that loathes election campaigns.
Just an excuse for politicians to talk even more ridiculous, negative, cynical, outrageous, disingenuous bollocks in the hope that there are people daft enough to believe them Rolleyes.

Nonetheless polling day cannot arrive a second too soon to get what has seemed like this interminable shower of shit of a government out of office.
Three of the worst prime ministers one after the other in living memory have helped bring the country to it's knees with a catalogue of lies, sleaze, spitefulness, double standards and contempt for human need.

July 4th needs to come quick.
All that leads up to it can politely fuck off.

Starmer doing it right, positive, hopeful, country before party. If he can deliver, we might have a chance of being respected as a country again.

Didn't take long for Sunak to start the scaremongering already in an East London event. I mean FFS. Can we just vote tomorrow and fuck all this nonsense off? bladewave

I hope he continues telling us what he wants to do and not what the other lot have done already. Everyones knows that...

My biggest problem with Labour is the current Shadow Cabinet, the only one who inspires any confidence is Rachel Reeves. I think she'll be a first rate Chancellor. I just have a feeling that the likes of Lammy & Rayner could open their gobs at the wrong moment and fuck things up in a big way.
