Yeah, I posted and deleted something last night when it was three nil, I think we all knew it'd be a bitch of a first game, but that perfomance was just poor.

They can't make any excuses, they need to move on and do better moving forward. A good performance and being beaten is acceptible, we know the reality of the situation ffs.

The atmosphere in the Hungary v Switzerland match is amazing. Both sets of fans giving it some.

Definitely not true. Chelsea did everything they could to keep Musiala, but as a 16 year old he'd been persuaded that he'd got a straight path into the German national team and so he signed for Bayern Munich.

A 1-0 win but we had to work had for it, and Serbia probably deserve credit for making it hard. I get the feeling our group might be decided on goal difference, Now I just wonder if it has raised far more questions about just how good we really are and how far we can actually go. I get the feeling injury wise we are going to be looking to a changed line up.

Good result, but some worrying signs.

Interesting contrast with Italy-Albania game yesterday. The ‘favourite’ is dominant in the first half, and then scoreless in the second. The difference is that Italy looked defensive and toothless, but still in control throughout. England, by contrast seemed jittery and disorganised. It’s the difference between “seeing it out” and “just hanging on”.

Still… a win’s a win.

After a bright start lost control of the game and against a better team we'd have been murdered. No surprise with just Rice and converted right back in the middle. England had no left hand side, with Foden pretty non-existent. Jude a deserved MOTM but even he faded later on.

BUT job done, so we move on
