How do England rank for age overall, perhaps not that young?

Are people expecting big changes for the England game?
Anyone else notice a few more teams in the comp are playing a very similar style to Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen team. Denmark did it against England really well.

Well England's squad age of 26.1 puts them as low as 22nd out of the 24 competing nations, but the England starting XI age of 27.5 is not far off the average starting age of 27.9 and puts them at 14th out of the 24.

I think Trent probably only figure if we are winning and qualification is almost safe, but I think Kane probably woyuld benefit from someone up front with him if so, we'll probably play the press game, which I think in turns means we'll have to play a with back three with a wing back on the left.

I hope Southgate lets them off the leash tomorrow, I do hope the players realise they can't really sit back if the take the lead they have to try and kill the game off at some point and make game and qualiffication safe. However I worry that if we do sit back, Slovenia probably will cause us problems.

Sadly, I can’t see Italy going very far in this tournament, but they are certainly producing some drama on the way.

Concede the fastest goal in in Euros history, but come back to win 2-1. Heroic backs-to-the-wall defence against a rampant Spain. And now they score one of the latest goals to sink Croatia with the last kick of the game.

With Albania losing to Spain it made England qualify to the last 16.
