Danny Glover travels from St Louis to Dogon Country, which is to say from Senegal to Mali, taking the Bamako Express, but also a boat ride and more. Danny took his wife and an interpreter or two, and seemed to find it a rewarding and enriching experience.

Stoke City fan Nick Hancock tries his luck going from East to West in Cuba, in a journey where trains sometimes work, and sometimes don't, leading to several "making other arrangements" bits. He also adds levity with a book on multiple loopy CIA plots to kill Fidel Castro, most of which fail because they can't get the stuff.

More of same, with Naked Video and Kick up the Eighties included, but French & Saunders presumably held back to next week. Some amusing choices reputedly being ones Paul wrote or co-wrote, and an early appearance in a Fry & Laurie sketch.
