Many pundits are saying that it wasn't one, I'd still say it was a marginal one as Dumfries caught him after Kane connected with the the ball and Kane was off balance as well, I doubt many PL refs would have given it.

I hope the Dutch smash Les Bleus, I do think we have to start with Watkins Sunday - he'll probably frighten the Spanish defence to death!!

I feel Kane has been way way off anything like he should be, if anything I now think that back injury of his can't have fully cleared up, and I wouldn't be surprised if he has now got a trapped nerve somewhere that is hindering him pace - wise and he ends up having surgery.
Watkins hasn't been over used and I think him along with Shaw & Gallagher from the start, will give us a far better looking shape & balance. Make Kyle Walker captain and put Kane on bench.

I actually thought that would have been between Saka & Pockford for me, with Pickford shading it.

I'm looking for the head to heads in the final. Manchester City's Foden v Rodri, and Spain and England wonderkids Lamine Yamal and Jude Bellingham.

I just want to see Engpland play a decent game of football fior once with no back passing.

Perhaps he's influenced by Kane being the current holder of the European Golden Boot for being the top goalscorer in Europe last season, breaking two Bundesliga goalscoring records along the way, and for good measure being the top goalscorer in the Champions League last season as well.

Southgate is — if nothing else — faultlessly loyal to the players that have shown up for him before, including some that he’s known since coaching them at U21 level.

In this case, however, I think there are compelling reasons to drop Kane from the starting 11.

Spain will assume he’s a fixture, so it would throw a small spanner in the works of their preparation and planning. If England falls behind, Kane can come on later with fresh legs and a point to prove. If the game is tight, it ensures that another ace penalty taker and the team captain is on the pitch for any eventual penalty shootout.

Love the guy, and if he came on to me in a bar, I’d feel pressured to let him do things to me.

But for this game, I say ‘drop him’ … drop him like a bad habit.

Is odd but maybe it's because it's the Euro it's a different thing isn't it.
