Paige - Discussion Thread

A few nights back she said she was letting her hair's natural curls return and was looking really good, so I hope it is a wig.

I had to look twice to recognise Paige, at first glance I thought Amanda had returned to cellcast,

Unfortuneately, I have to say the name "Morticia Addams" kept coming into my head any time I saw Paige last night, and Morticia does nothing for me whereas Paige usually does!

Depends which of the screen versions of Morticia comes to mind, I guess. If it's Anjelica Houston I can sympathise. Carolyn Jones, on the other hand . . .

Firstly, the new hairstyle is growing on me!!

I have to say that her recent performances have really stretched her boundaries and, hopefully, with Lori and Camilla on with her tonight she will be coaxed into getting naked like they have. As these girls, and others, have been naked I think it is her turn tonight!!!

If she does I hope that it will finally stop people criticising her because in my mind she is absolutely perfect in that she has not covered her body in massive tattoos, got numerous body piercings or seen fit to over inflate her boobs with plastic like some bimbos I could mention (but won't).

In short: LAY OFF PERFECTION!!!!

Hello again

I'm sorry to say that I was disappointed with last night's show as far as Paige was concerned. It wasn't that she wasn't as sexy as usual (she was), it's just that she wasn't on the phones as much as any other girls. Unless I am mistaken there was a TWO HOUR gap between her first and second sections during which all the other girls moved around. I actually found myself screaming at the telly for her to go onto the phones.

Also some of the other girls hadl sections of more than an hour whereas Paige's was just under. It isn't that I don't want her to appear on BSXtra I would like to see her other talents on BS1, BS2 and Partyland. It sweemed to me that last night the producers were intent on keeping the only realy attractive, natural girl of the phones as much as possible (or am I just being cynical).

PS I wish to say that I am NOT criticising Paige in any way, only the PRATS behind the scenes.

And in one foul swoop - all the posts that certain people on here make in terms of unfair criticism being 'thrown' at paige is undermined in these 2 posts.

Why is it unfair and not allowed for people to voice their criticisms at Paige's performances, and yet it is ok for you to make quite personal comments against both (quite obviously) 1 girl in particular and the background people? (1 of those people is ModSta who has done far more for this forum and it's members than any of the babes have in terms of helping out etc)

I really hope those posts stay as a reminder of the contradictory nature of a select few of Paige's fans (I accept that not all of them are the same - but are sadly let down by those that make these kind of posts). There are no excuses for references of 'plastic bimbo' etc. These terms are not excused as 'opinion' - a dislike for tattoos or boob jobs etc is one thing, terms like 'plastic bimbo' are just unneccesarily offensive

It's not your imagination and you're not being cynical lol.

To be fair to the production team, the babestation ship is on fire at the moment.
However positive a spin Cellcast put on things, it's not plain sailing for them when most of the big names (that they still use to advertise their various products!) have upped and left for Elite and BB.
Moreover Elite in particularly have upped the ante in terms of 'event' performances.
It's natural for Babestation to fight fire with fire and paige is obviously the most talked about girl still on their roster so it's to be expected that they restrict her airtime for best effect.
How often does a BS night kick off with Paige in some 'showpiece' set (e.g. the Moulin Rouge theme) to draw in the crowd to BS stations? Too often to be a coincidence.

Her value is understood and she won't be overexposed. So enjoy what you get because Paige is a one off.

This all seems a bit contradictory. If Cellcast and Babestation are in difficulties then it makes no sense whatsoever to limit the airtime of what is, using your description, the most talked about girl on their roster.
It's all about phone minutes at the end of the day and possible overexposure doesn't even come into play hence the fact that Paige was constantly on for night after night after night month after month.

You are correct that Babestation has to fight fire with fire and that has been done by girls on the channel pushing things further ( Lori has been a complete revelation for example).

Just get the feeling you're totally overplaying the importance of Paige here to be honest.
