THe way things are going how long is it going to be before someone innocent is seriously imjured or even killed through no fault of their own as a result.

I see that the guy who was biten on his ass by a police dog when he shouted and tried to push through the police cordon, has been given a 26 months jail sentence.

Riots are a problem,but the sentences been given compared to other crimes is a bit ott They are trying to shock them to stop.

Violent Disorder carries a maximum sentence of up to 5 years, so the terms handed down so far are not "ott" by any means.

^^ I don't know the individual details of this case, but these aren't peaceful demos, criminal damage is taking place, these rioters are arming themselves & putting the public & the police in danger, do they wait until lives are lost. Who cares if sentences is disproportionate, this is an active situation, they are of course trying to use heavy sentencing as a deterrent. Let's me honest, all sentences are too short, if we had more prison space we could come down hard on all criminality. Too soft for too long.

They're just a bunch of dumb fucks imo, any excuse to cause violence and disorderly hatred toward others, not a braincell between them imo -

^^ This is my nearest city Hull, these people are not a true reflection of the majority.
